So what affiliation does Prince William Have with Texas UT?
The Devil's Hand: No, It's Not 'Hook 'Em Horns'
"Devil's hand" (or "il cornuti" in Italian) signifies that satan rules. It is a universal hand signal used by politicians, celebrities as well as heavy metal bands, affirming their allegiance to satanic powers and a visual shorthand for "Hail, Satan."
The "devil's hand" is familiar to both Bill Clinton and George Bush as evidenced by the photos with the caption "the satanic torch is passed" on Steamshovel Press (www.steamshovelpress.com)
Both Laura and George Bush used this hand signal during the 2005 coronation (inauguration)of the US President on January 20.
The mainstram media cartel has tried to explain away this bizarre and occult hand signal by implying that this is the "hook 'em horns" sign used by Texas Longhorn football fans.
Not so. The devil's hand has been observed and photographed around the world, used by George Bush, Bill Clinton, Silvio Berlusconi, Elizabeth Taylor, Prince William, Paul McCartney,Metallica, Ozzie, Avril Lavigne, Stephen Dorff, Dave Navarro and many others.
They are not Texas football fans by any stretch of any imagination.
Former New York Governor Mario Cuomo was shown making this gesture on the cover of "Secret Societies and Psychological Warfare" by Michael A. Hoffman II (1992)
(See Adrian Frutiger, "Signs and Symbols, Their Designs and Meanings.")
The devil's hand signifies the horned god of witchcraft Pan and is an occult sign of recognition worldwide.
Like the Masonic sign of distress (the reach for the skies hands straight up pose) or masonic handshakes, the devil's hand has been used for centuries.

Hey satanists, why is it called the secret devil sign when everyone who knows heavy metal knows it?

It also has a variety of meanings in heavy metal and is known by a variety of terms: 'devil sign', 'devil horns', 'goat horns', 'metal horns', 'metal sign', 'throwing the goat', 'evil fingers', 'Pommesgabel' (German for french fry fork), 'mano cornuta', 'peka evil', 'the horns', 'forks', also "Rock Fist" or 'Rock on' "Visel" in some U.S. rock music subcultures. Gene Simmons claimed to have first introduced the sign to heavy metal, when he was shown extending his little finger and pointer finger on the cover of KISS' 1977 album ''Love Gun'', although his claim is disputed. On the other hand, Gene Simmons has, even before the ''Love Gun'' LP, showed this sign on stage or during photo sessions (for example Japan, April 1977). The common cited examples however show Simmons making the gesture with the thumb extended, which is rather a different gesture which means "I Love You" and had been used well before this. Gene claims he was inspired by 60's Marvel comics, especially Dr Strange and also Spider-Man who would extend his index and little finger whilst using his middle fingers to trigger his web shooters to shoot a line of webbing. Ronnie James Dio in an interview for the movie also disputed Gene Simmons' claims saying
"...although Gene Simmons will tell you that he invented it but then again Gene invented breathing and shoes and everything you know."
In heavy metal music, Ronnie James Dio also used this sign, and is known for popularizing its usage in heavy metal. His Italian grandmother used it to ward off the evil eye (''malocchio''). Dio began using the sign soon after joining (1979) the metal band Black Sabbath. The previous singer in the band, Ozzy Osbourne, was rather well known at using the "peace" sign at concerts, raising the index and middle finger in the form of a V. Dio, in an attempt to connect with the fans, wanted to similarly use a hand gesture. However, not wanting to copy Osbourne, he chose to use the sign his grandmother always made. Both accounts are predated by the Chicago based psychedelic-Goth band Coven, led by singer Jinx Dawson who made the gesture on their 1969 album cover for "Witchcraft Destroys Minds and Reaps Souls". Incidentally, the band also wrote a song called "Black Sabbath," and one of the band members was named Oz Osborne, not to be confused with Ozzy Osbourne of Black Sabbath fame. The horns became famous in metal concerts very soon after Black Sabbath's first tour with Dio.

With the rapid rise in popularity of the El Diablo sign among rock music fans, many people seem to be blissfully unaware of the satanic background and dark history of this sign. To some, giving the sign more likely indicates eagerness and gusto for fun, partying, drinking, and rebellion.

Odyssey of the Devil HornsWho is responsible for bringing metal's famous hand signal to the tribe?By Steve Appleford
It is called the mano cornuto, the horned hand, with index finger and pinkie raised proudly as the sign of the beast, ready for an unholy wave to your favorite demon king. The Horns of Cernunnos. The woolly Goat of Mendes. And the edifice of Scaccia Scalogna, source of the ancient code to defeat the "evil eye" and its power to wilt the fruit on trees and the mojo of men. Or, it means nothing at all - nothing beyond the international greeting to heavy metal ecstasy, aimed at all the flawed rock gods with their Marshall amps and electric guitars. It is there that the horns still carry some tribal significance, and where the local monster metal fest might carry a giant foam-rubber facsimile of the horned hand to be waved from across the arena, as harmless as a pillow.
Satan must miss the attention. It had been his for centuries, used with conviction just in the last generation by Church of Satan founder Anton LaVey himself. To Wiccans, the raised fingers were like antenna to receive a jolt from the mighty and mysterious Goddess. The sign still worries evangelists, but it truly belongs to rock now, as a declaration of love and testosterone in the presence of Ozzy or Metallica or the next speed-metal band to plug in onstage. It is a valentine between rock star and superfan.
Singer Rob Halford has no idea where it came from, and he probably picked it up from the audience. But it provides a big moment every night onstage with the reunited Judas Priest, right in the middle of "Painkiller," as the band drifts into a passage of lengthy metal-guitar riffing. That's when Halford steps up to the edge of the stage. "I throw a metal-god pose and put my horns in the air, and the crowd goes ballistic," Halford says. "It's like holding up the NBA trophy. It's a unifying moment. People go, 'Oh, my god, look what he's doing - that's me!' It's a moment of recognition."
But its source in rock is a mystery. And it has grown into a subject of uninformed debate in parking lots and online. Gene Simmons of KISS wrote in his 2002 autobiography that it was his accidental invention, the inadvertent gesture of a great man, repeated at concerts and picked up by fans. Not likely. Former Black Sabbath shouter Ronnie James Dio also takes the credit, first raising the horns before joining the band in 1978. And he's expressed alarm over the image of Britney Spears fans raising the sign at concerts by the dancing diva of lip-synched pop. The truth is elusive.
One Internet gadfly calling himself Physical Discomfort writes of Dio, "Hell no he didn't pioneer the devils hands thing!" Then he insists that a live photograph inside the 1972 album Black Sabbath Vol. 4 reveals Ozzy and fans throwing the goat into the air. A potential revelation ... so I dig out my buried copy, searching for a moment of pure cartoonish evil, a possible crossroads where heavy metal's flirtation with the Satanic and ridiculous began. And there it is: peace signs. The hippie dream, and not a demon's head anywhere.
The time has come for a survey, and first on the list is Dave Grohl. The Foo Fighters frontman and Nirvana drummer is in town to conduct his own headbanger paradise on a Hollywood soundstage, where he's shooting a video for his metal side-project Probot, sitting in with Motörhead's Lemmy Kilmister and 70 models from SuicideGirls.com. Between takes, Grohl poses for a magazine photographer. The man is a kind of redheaded, Mephisto-looking hipster, who begs Grohl to flash him "the goat" again and again. He refuses. Grohl's roots are in both metal and punk rock, where, if used at all, the horns tend to be wielded ironically. I ask later where he first saw the mano cornuto. "Honestly, probably at a Black Flag show, which doesn't make sense. But you'd have the burnouts that would come to see Black Flag after rippin' Sabbath in the parking lot for a good half-hour."
Later, I ask Lemmy the same thing, noting the casual claims of Gene Simmons. "Well, he would, wouldn't he?" Lemmy remarks. "He is so eeevilll. Come on, gimme a break."
Lars Ulrich of Metallica has no doubt at all: "That's got to be Ronnie James Dio. I remember Rainbow used to play in Denmark about every half-hour, so I used to go see it every half-hour. And Ronnie James Dio did a lot of that. Back in '75, '76, '77, it was all about Rainbow and Black Sabbath and Thin Lizzy."
In a separate interview, singer-guitarist James Hetfield, answers, "I think Dio." Then he goes on, with a smile: "I think Spider-Man originally. It's also 'I love you' in sign language. I don't know, I think it's 'Two more songs!' - you know."
One could make the pilgrimage to the medieval Italian hill town of Barga, Tuscany, and the carved visage of the Scaccia Scalogna, an ancient face set right into the wall along the Via di Mezzo. Locals in search of better luck and divine intervention travel to the cragged, alien face to press their horned hands right into the statue's eyes. Which takes the demon salute into the realm of Moe Howard of the Three Stooges, who enjoyed ending conversations with a pair of fingers in the eyes of his closest associates.
Even President George Bush has raised horns to the sky, suggesting all kinds of possible conspiracies and connections, entangled in Skull & Bones and star chambers. More likely, Bush is signaling his piety to the Texas Longhorns, gridiron warriors for the University of Texas, where a football-crazy male cheerleader named Harley Clark first raised the "hook 'em horns" signal at a 1955 pep rally. Clark is a retired state judge now, and definitely no Satanist.
Dio remembers the gesture from his Italian grandmother in New York, making a sign to ward off the "evil eye." He does not claim to have invented it, but says he brought it to the metal masses as far back as his days in Rainbow, before replacing Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath in 1978. When VH1 weighed in this year with 100 Most Metal Moments, No. 3 was Dio's use of the gesture as the universal signal for heavy metal. "It's nice to have been able to create something that's going to last for a long time and be credited for it," says Dio. "But I'm sure some guy named Og invented it 25,000 years ago."
And it belongs today in the hands of a deadly serious rocker, he argues, not the Top 40. "Going to see someone in a bustier doesn't seem to make any sense when they raise that sign up there. And they get it wrong. There's a way to do it. You have to lean into it and have a certain facial expression." For Dio, the sign "puts an exclamation point and a period to what you're doing. I don't do it for frivolous reasons. It was a natural thing for me to do. And perhaps it looks theatrical now because it's overused, even by myself."
But Dio was not the first rock musician to raise the horns high. It's not the devil's sign to everyone. It is also the password to the Mothership, the P-Funk juggernaut first launched at the beginning of the '70s. George Clinton and Bootsy Collins have been trading the "P-Funk sign" ever since, a kind of sci-fi-funk interpretation of the old Vulcan "live long and prosper" greeting from Star Trek's Mr. Spock.
A friend arranges a meeting with Clinton. I hand him a photograph of Dio making the hand signal, and tell him this is the man (or one of them) credited with bringing it to rock. Clinton stares at the picture for a long, silent minute, breathing heavily. Another minute passes. He's never heard of Ronnie James Dio. It's the P-Funk sign, man. The mystery continues.
Then I mention Simmons, and Clinton smiles. "He should know better," he says with a laugh. KISS and Parliament-Funkadelic were both on Casablanca Records in the '70s. "Our costumes were made at the same place," he adds. "And we had ours made there first!"

Spiderman is frequently portrayed making the sign to activate his web-shooters which are triggered by pressing his palms.

This hand symbol is known by several names: "Devil's Triad, Il Cornuto, Cornuto, the Horn, Horned Devil, Twin-horned Salute, Horned Hand, Devil Salute, and Devil Horn Salute. The Devil's triad is a recognition sign among Satanists and witches. Remember that Satan (or Pan) is called the "Horned God", and the hand signal is formed so as to resemble horns."

9/11 anniversary service no place for Devil's salute

What did President George W. Bush give the world as a symbolic gesture on the 6th anniversary of 9/11?
According to pictures taken during a 9/11 sixth anniversary ceremony, the horned hand salute.
To many, the horned hand salute is "the Satan Sign".
Why Bush would show the Satan Sign, or anything even resembling it on the sixth anniversary of 9/11, is one for the books.
Speculation was rife when Bush, his wife and daughter, Jenna flashed the Satan sign at January, 2005 inaugural ceremonies.
Norway's Nettavisen explained that the symbol was simply the "Hook 'em, Longhorns" sign that the president and his daughter flashed to the University of Texas marching band as it passed the podium.
There were no signs of the Texas marching band at Tuesday's somber anniversary of 9/11.
Bush himself once explained his use of the hand gesture as the sign of the University of Texas Longhorns.
George Bush could be a fan of U of T, but he never attended it.
Supporters and detractors alike know that he received his undergraduate degree from Yale University, and that the University of Texas law school turned him down because his record at Yale was so mediocre.
While attending Yale, Bush joined a satanic cult called Skull and Bones.
Another oddity about Bush claiming he uses the "Hook 'em, Longhorns" salute is the salute depicted looks nothing like the typical Longhorns salute given by U of T students.
According to www.moronabroad.blogspot.com, both hands are used in the Longhorns salute, and the backs rather than the palms of the hands are facing outwards to better simulate Texas Longhorns.
It was Reuters' Larry Downing who put the Bush family on the map for the "devil hand signals" prevalent throughout the 2005 inauguration.
"U.S. President George W. Bush and first lady Laura Bush make the `Texas Longhorn' sign as a Texas float and marching band go past the reviewing stand for the Inaugural Parade in Washington, January 20, 2005. Bush was sworn in for the second term in office earlier in the day," said the photo cutline beneath the pictures.
That was the day when many sworn Bush enemies, including Hollywood stars who had promised to flee American soil should Bush make a second term but never did, were giving another kind of salute, the one-fingered one.
More than passing strange isn't it that Bill Clinton uses the same `hook `em horns' UT symbol when he's out and about?
The hand symbol flashed by Bush is known by several names: Devil's Triad, 11 Cornuto, Cornuto, the Horn, the Horned Devil, Twin-horned Salute, Horned Hand, Devil Salute and Devil Horn Salute. Whatever you call it, the hand signal is formed so as to resemble horns. (Ibid, 226-7).
The Horned Hand or Mano Cornuto is a satanic salute, a sign of recognition between and allegiance of members of Satanism or other unholy groups.
Perhaps Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who claimed to have picked up the odor of sulfur when Bush was at the United Nations, had been poring over Internet pictures of Bush flashing the salute.
Mind you, Chavez is hardly the Holy of Holies other than in his own mind.
But getting back to the hands of George Bush during 9/11 sixth anniversary services.
The President of the United States of America could not stand with his hands at his side during the minute of silence?
Meanwhile, maybe the devil made him do it.

Bush salute a Satan sign? Norwegians think soFirst family was actually paying tribute to Texas university
AP, Fri., Jan. 21, 2005
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6852171/wid/11915829/OSLO, Norway - President Bush’s “Hook ’em, ’horns” salute got lost in translation in Norway, where shocked people interpreted his hand gesture during his inauguration as a salute to Satan.
That’s what it means in the Nordics when you throw up the right hand with the index and pinky fingers raised, a gesture popular among heavy metal groups and their fans in the region.
“Shock greeting from Bush daughter,” a headline in the Norwegian Internet newspaper Nettavisen said above a photograph of Bush’s daughter Jenna, smiling and showing the sign. For Texans, the gesture is a sign of love for the University of Texas Longhorns, whose fans are known to shout out “Hook ’em, ’horns!” at sporting events.
Bush, a former Texas governor, and his family made the sign to greet the Longhorn marching band as it passed during the inaugural parade through Washington during Thursday’s festivities, Norway’s largest newspaper, Verdens Gang, explained to its readers.

President George W. Bush loves to flash this "Devil Horn Salute"; however, his supporters will tell you that he is merely flashing the symbol for the University of Texas, the old "Hook-em Horns" symbol. However, George W. Bush did not attend the University of Texas and given his "Skull & Bones" lifetime connection, you have to think he is flashing the symbol to all fellow Illuminists!

The "El Diablo" hand sign often is con-fused with the deaf hand signal of the phrase, "I love you." While at first this appears an odd resemblance, we register an "ahh, I get it!" emotion when we discover that the person who invented, or created, the hand sign system for the deaf, Helen Keller, was herself an occultist and Theosophist. Did Keller purposely design the deaf's "I love you" sign to be such a remarkable imitation of the classic sign of Satan? Was Keller saying, basically, "I love you, Devil?" -Texe Marrs

In baseball, the gesture, especially when the forearm is rotated, indicates "two outs." In the common signal for "two" (the index and middle finger raised), the fingers may be too close together for distant outfielders to distinguish the two fingers from one. Elston Howard is commonly credited with originating this use.

"Global government, mankind's gravest need "
Sunday, 27 January 2008
IRI President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Monday evening at the inauguration ceremony of new head of National Center for Globalization Studies, "mankind's gravest need today is a global government."
Appreciating the services rendered by the former head of that center (formerly called the International Center for Dialogue among Civilizations), Dr. Mohammad Nahavandian, the President said that choosing Esfandiar Rahim-Masha'ie was "based on precise calculations, and in accordance with a plan for the center."
The president added, "The Center for Globalization Studies must be a very dynamic center, able to take long studies forward, thanks to the presence of thinkers and intellectuals from various academic fields, able to pursue globalization discussions throughout the world."
Pointing out that God has definitely been pursuing objectives in creation of man, he stressed, "Almighty Allah has drawn the horizons of man's blessed life in this world and how to achieve that objective, based on man's innate desires and in the framework of his social relations with the others."
The President emphasized, "Man is created to be a global creature, as all divine religions are global, and if he would be deprived of this aspect of his personality, neither anything would remain of his humanity, nor any of his potentials and talents would find a proper ground for manifestation."
Proposing that the rule of single law in the entire world is a bare necessity for the mankind, he said, "The existence of a thousand laws in the world, and then expecting that the global society would reach a status of equilibrium, justice, and tranquility is wishing for the impossible."
He added, "It is not possible to observe global justice under such conditions that each country is ruled based on a different set of laws."
Ahmadinejad said, "The entire monotheist Arch-Prophets (PBUT) were leaders for the whole mankind, and accordingly, so long as a single law would not be put to effect globally, and a single perfect, and noble human being would not take the charge of a global government, the God given talents of the people would not be materialized, and there would be no sign of divine justice in the world."
He considered mankind's progress throughout history "a constant move towards perfection", reiterating, "Today, globalization has become an issue for daily talk of even ordinary folks, under such conditions that signs for accelerating move of the mankind towards the peaks of perfection are countless, and ever increasing."
The IRI President stressed that pure Mohamedan Islam has answers to modern man's entire questions, adding, "World nations would accept Islam in large groups if pure Islam would one day be presented to them free from all non-Islamic attachments."
Ahmadinejad said, "The entire developments in the world are pieces of a puzzle, being fit in their place in order to complete God's general scheme for a perfect world for the mankind, but in the process of this completion some people achieve perfection, while others fall in the abbeys of annihilation, and nowhere is ever devoid of God's will and Divine Rule, nor of his Caliph on earth." He said that the era for drawing border lines between Islam, Christianity, and Judaism is now over, reiterating, "Unadulterated Christianity and Judaism are the same as they are entirely manifestations of the same Divine Truth."
The President stressed, "The single and solid plan and order that we should present for the lives of the world people should be in a way to be acceptable by the pure innate nature of the entire mankind, and such laws need to be based on divine teachings."
