When the Absurd Becomes Reality! (Part 8)

ObamaCare contractor accused of criminal behavior
Pay $1 million, get a $1 billion contract
Didn't any Obama geniuses read the newspaper?
The US is a high tech/software/eCommerce powerhouse.
We're really good at this stuff.
So why did the Obama administration give a $1 billion plus ObamaCare website contract to a UK company that is already under investigation for everything from gross incompetence to government fraud to sexual assault?
Follow the
The corporate felons spent $1 million on lobbying (read that "legalized bribery to dirtbag politicians.")
That's a 1,000 to 1 return on their investment (bribe to contract size.)
Why can't every American get in on this corporate gravy train? Think of the good it would do the country.
I'd be happy to give Obama $1,000 to get a million dollar contract to create a web site. I'd ever make sure it works. Which government punk to I give the
money to?
Hunger Games becomes reality: Child suspended for using imaginary bow and arrow at school
by J. D. Heyes
Thursday, December 19, 2013
(NaturalNews) The PC police and progressive stooges have long taken over the nation's public school systems, and the result has been a complete disaster.
Not only have these idiots led our education system down a path of sustained decline - a fact which almost no one discusses - but they have turned our schools into havens of nonsensical tyranny while transforming our children into mind-numbed robots of conformity.
The latest outrage, as reported by Britain's Daily Mail newspaper:
A 10-year-old boy was suspended after he pretended to shoot an imaginary bow and arrow at his classmate, the family's attorney said this week.
Johnny Jones was disciplined after he playfully responded to his friend's imaginary gun duel during class in October, by making an imaginary bow and arrow using his pencil.
Johnny was reported by a girl in his class at the South Eastern School District West in Pennsylvania.

It's all 'zero-tolerance,' you see
A fake bow-and-arrow. In response to an "imaginary gun duel."
This sort of stuff used to happen all the time on school playgrounds during recess, not just in class. But no more; the lunatics are running the asylum.
According to the Mail, the boy and his friend were lectured by the teacher. Following the lecture, the 10-year-old and his friend were summarily suspended for one day, an action that has become part of
their permanent school record.
Why? Well, the school district has a "zero-tolerance policy" against "weapons" - even if there aren't any actual weapons used.
The boy's parents aren't taking this foolishness lying down. They have secured legal representation through the Rutherford Institute; its founder, constitutional attorney John W. Whitehead, has taken the case personally.
"We all want to keep the schools safe, but I'd far prefer to see something credible done about actual threats, rather than this ongoing, senseless targeting of imaginary horseplay," he told the Mail.
In accordance with the parents' wishes, Whitehead's Rutherford Institute has demanded that the boy's suspension be expunged from his record, at the very least. So far, the school district hasn't budged.
The Mail reported:
According to the South Eastern School District's Zero Tolerance policy for 'Weapons, Ammunition and other Hazardous Items' the school bans possession of guns, knives and other instruments that can be used to harm.
It also bans students from carrying replica or lookalike weapons - but makes no mention of the imaginary.

Whitehead has written extensively about the PC craziness that has gripped America's public education system. In a
recent column where he mentioned Johnny Jones, Whitehead prefaced the piece this way:
It wouldn't be a week in America without another slew of children being punished for childish behavior under the regime of zero tolerance which plagues our nation's schools. Here are some of the latest incidents.
Public schools - or prison compounds?
In the same piece, Whitehead provides more evidence of insanity in our public schools:
-- In Utah, a seven-year-old boy was arrested and berated by police because he ran away from school. He showed up at his mother's house later, prompting her to call the school and let officials there know she had him. The principle, however, decided to call police - for some reason. "An officer arrived at the house, told the boy to "straighten up," took him outside, handcuffed him, and yelled at him saying, "Is this the life you want?" Whitehead wrote.
-- In Colorado, a six-year-old boy was suspended and accused of sexual harassment for kissing the hand of a girl in his class whom he had a crush on. Again, the boy is six. Due to negative publicity school district officials changed the offense from "sexual harassment" to simple "misconduct." What champs.
-- In New York, three students were arrested while waiting for a bus to arrive and take them to a basketball scrimmage. They were part of a group of 12 ball players who were waiting on the sidewalk, per their coach's instructions.
Are public schools institutions of learning or prisons? It's getting harder to tell, thanks to the insanity of the "progressive" PC crowd.
Little Girls Kicked Out of Grocery Store for ‘Offending’ Customers With Christmas Carols

WinCo grocery store in Vancouver, Washington
By Warner Todd Huston
Christmas is offensive. At least a WinCo grocery store in Vancouver, Washington, was afraid that a pair of little girls would “offend” customers if they sang Christmas carols outside the store. So they told the two tykes to take a hike.
The two girls, Ayla Bascom and Kaitlyn Manseau, started singing songs outside the grocery store including both secular and religious songs, such as “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Silent Night.” But the store managers got all afraid of “offending” customers with the songs.
“(The store said) our policy is like we don’t allow carolers or something like that,” little Kaitlyn said.
“I was like bummed,” Ayla said. “We were both depressed that we couldn’t spread any more love and joy and cheer.”
The girls weren’t soliciting any money. They just wanted to sing a few songs and bestow the Christmas spirit on shoppers for a smile and some fun.
The girls noted that they’d never heard of a “corporate attorney” before but now one was telling them that they weren’t allowed to give folks any Christmas cheer.
But the Grinchery store… er grocery store… did eventually change its corporate mind and said they’d allow the girls to sing their carols.
It remains to be seen if the girls will go back, however. What do you think? Should the girls go back?

Humanists Sue Teacher Who Prayed for Injured Student
Nov 27, 2013
The latest allegations from the American Humanist Association are shocking, titillating, and (cue the 1950s soap opera organist) downright scandalous.
In a complaint filed by the organization on November 20 a Missouri public school teacher has been accused of praying for an injured student, organizing a project to feed hungry children and (brace yourself) -- cavorting with a Methodist.
“Teachers simply cannot participate in prayers with students at school, nor can they promote their religious beliefs in any other way to their students,” the AHA said in a statement.
The humanists filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of two students accusing Gwen Pope and the Fayette R-III School District of violating the Constitution by allowing a Christian club to meet before the start of the school day. The school's former principal is also named in the lawsuit.
Mrs. Pope, who is no longer teaching at the school, was the sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Students at Fayette High School. Since 2010, students have voluntarily gathered before the start of the school day to pray and read the Bible in her classroom.
The American Humanist Association said the two unnamed complainants had been subjected to “unwelcome encounters with the classroom prayer sessions.”
It seems her classroom is near the entrance door of the school and apparently non-believing students could see their classmates engaged in religious activities.
They alleged that Mrs. Pope and the students were seen reading Bible verses and (again, brace yourself) praying for the ill.
“When a student was sick or injured, Pope frequently asked the students in attendance to pray for the afflicted student and joined the attending students in prayer by bowing her head, closing her eyes and saying amen,” the lawsuit alleged.
The lawsuit specifically mentions an incident that occurred during the 2010-11 school year when a classmate had been hospitalized for knee surgery.
Mrs. Pope allegedly encouraged the students to pray for the young man. The lawsuit describes in great detail the aftermath of that request.
“She then bowed her head and closed her eyes,” the lawsuit states. “At the end of the prayer, Pope joined the students in saying aloud, ‘Amen.’”
Can you believe a public school would tolerate such diabolical behavior?
The AHA also took issue with a flier that promoted the club’s participation in the “Buddy Pack” program at a local food pantry. The packs are filled with food and given to elementary school students to take home over the weekend.
As egregious as feeding the poor might have been, the humanists were especially troubled by Mrs. Pope’s reading material. She was accused of owning a Bible. Yes, a Bible.
“This display violates the Establishment Clause as a student would reasonably perceive it as her promoting her religious views to her students,” the AHA said in a statement.
So what’s the school supposed to do – round up all the Bibles and host an old-fashioned book burning?
As for the cavorting with the Methodist charge – it turns out Mrs. Pope’s husband is a former youth minister for the local Methodist church – and he was invited to attend the club prayer sessions.
I spoke to the school superintendent on Monday and she sent me a statement noting they had not yet received a copy of the lawsuit.
“The district strives to respect and abide by the constitutional rights of its students and staff members,” the statement read. “It will vigorously defend against any claim that the district has taken actions which violate any persons’ First Amendment rights.
The American Humanist Association wants the judge to end all religious activity at the school as well as award monetary damages to the “offended” students, according to the lawsuit.
This over-the-top attack on Christianity is just unbelievable. Then again, what do you expect from a bunch of humanists who don't believe in anything that really matters?
Portland public schools now consider peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to be 'racist'
by: Jonathan Benson, staff writer
Wednesday, November 27, 2013
(NaturalNews) A Portland public school principal is on a crusade to eradicate what she sees as racism and "white privilege" lurking around every corner, and in the process has come to the deranged conclusion that peanut butter and jelly sandwiches somehow fall into these categories. Verenice Gutierrez, principal of Harvey Scott K-8 School in Northeast Portland's Cully neighborhood, told her students that PB&J is a racist concept hatched by privileged whites, as are any references to the food, which could be perceived as discriminatory, because it is not necessarily eaten in other countries.
"What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches?" Gutierrez is reported as saying to her students as part of an indoctrination program known as "Courageous Conversations." "Another way would be to say: 'Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that?' Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita."
A native of El Paso, Texas, Gutierrez clearly has an obsession with racism and says that she is doing whatever she can to stamp it out of her students, at least those who are white. Blind to her own unabashed racism, which is the real irony in this story, Gutierrez has decided to accomplish this goal by nitpicking and dissecting every aspect of American culture that she finds offensive and teaching her students to think and speak in the ways that she finds acceptable.
"Through intensive staff trainings, frequent staff meetings, classroom observations and other initiatives, the premise is that if educators can understand their own 'white privilege,' then they can change their teaching practices to boost minority students' performance," explains the Portland Tribune about Gutierrez's "Courageous Conversations" program, which has been implemented throughout Portland.
In Gutierrez's mind, racism against whites means fighting racism
In other words, anyone of European descent, no matter what country they come from or to what socioeconomic class they belong, is considered to possess this unique mystery privilege, based on their particular skin color. Such nonsense has no basis in reality, of course, but is rather a product of Gutierrez's own mind, which is evidently consumed by thoughts of animosity towards all things "white," whatever that even means.
But Gutierrez' racist agenda against people with white skin has not been welcomed by everyone, including many parents who expressed outrage about a drum corps she helped start at the Scott School for "boys of color." The program was designed specifically for black and Latino boys only and deliberately excluded all white boys, as well as girls of all colors.
One parent decried the shamelessly racist class, which is offered once a week during lunchtime, as "blatant discrimination," noting that it is equally discriminative of "women, Asians, whites and Native Americans."
"This 'club' was approved by the administration, and any girls who complained were brushed off and it was not addressed," wrote the parent anonymously.
But Gutierrez disagrees. And thanks to her "minority privilege," which is uniquely protected by America's new cultural acceptance of political correctness at the expense of whites, she continues to get away with instilling racism into her students on the taxpayer dime, so long as this racism is directed against whites.
"Gutierrez is an evil, duplicitous woman," wrote one Portland Tribune commenter. "Excluding whites from the drum corps is racist. Talking about torta and pita while excluding PB&J is racist ... She needs to check her Mestizo privilege at being able to say these stupid, evil things without being terminated from her job."

Pentagon officials paid companies tied to Afghan terrorists

Contractor financially supporting the Taliban, the Haqqani Network and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and may provide these groups access to a Coalition-controlled facility
By Jim Kouri
An internal investigation within the Pentagon has uncovered the U.S. government has paid more than $150-million to organizations that finance attacks by terrorists against American soldiers serving in Afghanistan, according to an American Political Action Committee (Ameri-Pac) statement released on Wednesday.
Evidence obtained by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), John Sopko, reveals that a contractor, identified by the CENTCOM (Central Command) commanding officer, is financially supporting the Taliban, the Haqqani Network and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and may provide these groups access to a Coalition-controlled facility.
This security lapse seems to have been caused by gaps in how contractor information is shared by U.S. government agencies supporting the reconstruction effort, Sopko reported.
“Unless immediate action is taken to correct this matter, this contractor and other supporters of the insurgency could continue to gain access to U.S.- and Coalition-controlled facilities in Afghanistan.
SIGAR uncovered this matter while investigating construction defects at the Parwan Justice Center complex, a project funded jointly by the Departments of State and Defense,” Sopko wrote in a confidential letter to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel.
For example, in June 2011, the Defense Department’s Bagram Regional Contracting Center awarded CLC Construction Company (CLC) a contract to build a courthouse at the Bagram military complex. Sopko claims he began an inspection of the courthouse in May 2013, when he discovered that “U.S. government officials found various problems with the contractor’s work. Inspections found that the courthouse had serious structural deficiencies.”
During the course of his investigation, Sopko discovered that CLC hired the Zurmat Material Testing Laboratory (ZMTL), a subsidiary of the Zurmat Group, to conduct various construction safety tests.
“Evidence obtained by SIGAR indicates that for two days in November 2012, employees of ZMTL were given access to the Parwan Justice Center complex. However, these individuals should not have had access to a Coalition-controlled facility, because the U.S. government determined as early as April 2012, that the Zurmat Group poses a threat to U.S. and Coalition forces,” he stated in his report to Hagel.
On April 27, 2012, the U.S. Commerce Department had added the Zurmat Group and ZMTL to its list of suspicious groups and individuals because of Zurmat’s involvement in providing materials that are considered “dual-purpose” but were actually used to build improvised explosive devices (IEDs) commonly utilized against U.S. and coalition combat troops in Afghanistan.
On September 17, 2012, the CENTCOM commander at the time—Gen. James N. Mattis—identified the Zurmat Group and its subsidiaries as actively supporting the insurgency in Afghanistan. Gen. Mattis’ designation restricted the Zurmat Group and its subsidiaries from receiving Department of Defense contracts within the CENTCOM theater of operations.
“This lapse in security highlights the immediate need for a simple process to ensure that companies identified as supporters of the insurgency are prevented from accessing U.S.- and Coalition-controlled facilities,” said Sopko.

US hiring contractors tied to terror groups while training Libyan Islamists
Written by Allen West
According to a report published first in the Army Times, and followed up on Fox News, the Department of Defense has awarded a construction contract to an Afghan company with ties to Islamic terrorism. The Army Times reports:
Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction John Sopko cited the contract with Zurmat Material Testing Laboratory in a Nov. 8 letter to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel as part of a larger pattern resulting in $150 million of Pentagon payments to various concerns with insurgent ties.
“The idea that U.S. taxpayer dollars are flowing into the hands of terrorist groups bent on killing Americans is unthinkable and unacceptable,” Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., a member of the Senate’s Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees, reportedly said in a statement on the matter.
The U.S. Commerce Department noted the relationship between Zurmat and insurgents in early 2012 by citing the company having supplied bomb-making materials to enemy forces, according to Army Times. Then – and in September of 2012 – Marine Gen. James Mattis, who was at the time head of U.S. Central Command, reportedly requested the Pentagon ban the Zurmat Group, Zurmat Material Testing Laboratory’s parent company, from doing work in the region under his auspices.
Of course General Mattis is one of the senior officers who was forced into early retirement over the past year — perhaps this could have been an issue between him and the Obama administration?
This news comes on the heels of the revelation, as reported by the Washington Free Beacon, that:
The U.S. military is preparing to conduct military and special operations training for Libya’s military and the training will risk including Islamist terrorists among the trainees, according to the commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command. During a panel discussion on the war on terrorism at the Reagan National Defense Forum, Admiral William McRaven disclosed that the Libyan military training would include both conventional forces training and special operations training and that there will be risks. “We are going to have to assume some risks,” McRaven said. “Right now we have the authorities to do that training, and I think as a country we have to say there is probably some risk that some of the people we will be training with do not have the most clean records, but at the end of the day it is the best solution we can find to train them to deal with their own problems.”
The major risk is that the group responsible for the deaths of four Americans last year in Benghazi — Ansar al-Sharia, affiliated with Al Qaeda — operates openly in Libya and may be included in the training.
I find it unbelievable that the lies of Benghazi have seemingly been so easily forgotten that we could now be training those associated with the deaths of US Ambassador Chris Stevens, State Department IT Specialist Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALS Ty Woods and Glenn Doherty.
There have been many incidents of terrorist infiltration into the Afghan Army turning their weapons on our American Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Airmen. Now it seems the Obama administration is willingly placing our men and women into harm’s way.
The incompetence of Barack Obama has no end. His ill-advised, unconstitutional venture into Libya has destabilized that country. It resulted in the deaths of four Americans whom he abandoned to die. And now Obama wants us to go into the hotbed of Islamist activity — which he created — and train a vague, unaffiliated military force? People ask why I promote the impeachment, or at least the resignation of President Barack Obama. How about aiding and abetting the enemy?
Boston Children's Hospital kidnaps teen girl for 10 months, holds her as prisoner while threatening parents
Thursday, November 21, 2013
(NaturalNews) A 15-year-old Connecticut girl remains held by Boston Children's Hospital, a victim of the hospital's "kidnap and ransom" operation, traditionally called "K&R." K&R is not usually seen in hospitals, and that's what makes this story so bizarre and disturbing.
Boston Children's Hospital kidnapped the teen girl from her Connecticut family nearly 10 months ago under the excuse of a contrived medical diagnosis. Through legal maneuvering, the hospital managed to gain legal custody of the girl, and the "ransom demand" is the demand that the parents stop trying to remove the girl from the hospital so that Boston Children's can generate maximum revenue from so-called "treatments" which have so far accomplished nothing.
"It is kidnapping," said
the girl's father, Lou Pelletier. "It's beyond any wildest nightmare that you could think of."
The clinical psychologist known by the family says, "It's the most bizarre situation ... I've ever been involved with."
After the contrived diagnosis by the hospital, both parents "were escorted out of the hospital by security, and within four days, they lost custody of Justina," reports
Boston Children's Hospital now engaged in felony criminal kidnapping
What we are all witnessing here is far beyond the utter abandonment of medical ethics. This is a case where a hospital has crossed the line into blatant mafia-style criminality.
"Kidnapping" is defined as:
The crime of unlawfully seizing and carrying away a person by force or fraud, or seizing and detaining a person against his or her will with an intent to carry that person away at a later time.
This perfectly fits the definition of what Boston Children's Hospital has done to the Pelletier family. The hospital has no legitimate legal authority to assume control over a family's teenage daughter, especially when the parents were so actively concerned and involved in the child's wellbeing. The custody they claim to have now is based entirely on fraud and misrepresentation, thereby making the custody fraudulent.
The hospital cited "both parents' resistance towards recommended treatment plans" as part of its justification for kidnapping the girl for nearly 10 months. Make sure you fully grasp what this means: IF YOU DO NOT AGREE with a doctor's diagnosis of your child, the hospital will kidnap that child for an indefinite period, and local law enforcement authorities will very likely side with the hospital rather than the parents (because cops are easily intimidated by doctors).
The hospital is God. It is the ultimate authority and the owner of all your children. If you disagree with the hospital, you are stripped of your parenthood. Your child is taken from you by force -- essentially at gunpoint -- and if you try to rescue your own child from the hospital, YOU will be charged with kidnapping your own child! (This isn't fiction.
We've already reported on this happening before.)
Justina Pelletier is a prisoner of Boston Children's Hospital
Right now as you read this, Justina Pelletier is a prisoner of Boston Children's Hospital. The hospital will not let her leave. She is being forced to eat hospital food, which is much like prison food. Her movements are controlled. She is monitored. Her communication with the outside world is restricted.
This is the definition of prison.
Even if the hospital one day decides to release Justina Pelletier, it will almost certainly bill the parents for potentially millions of dollars in medical costs. That's where the "ransom" part comes into play. The longer the hospital criminally holds the girl as a kidnapping victim, the more bills they rack up which they may try to charge to the parents -- even though the parents never consented to the outrageous medical diagnosis and kidnapping in the first place!
The ultimate medical tyranny
This is the ultimate medical tyranny. You are witnessing hospitals transition into paramilitary medical enforcement detection centers where all medicine is administered at gunpoint and parents are escorted away from their children by husky, heavily-armed "security officers."
When it comes to children, vaccines, chemotherapy and psychiatric drugs are all weapons of destruction used as tools domination and control. Doctors now believe they alone have the intelligence to decide what's best for children, even at the expense of violating families, parental rights, individual liberty and medical common sense.
This is why you should NEVER take your child to a conventional hospital unless it's an absolutely life-and-death emergency. Even then, prepare to be accused of harming your own child and then escorted at gunpoint out of the hospital if you don't 100% agree with the diagnosis of some drug-pushing doctor who's more than likely receiving financial kickbacks from psychiatric drug manufacturers.
Boston Children's Hospital has a history of medical abuse of children
This isn't the first case of Boston Children's Hospital abusing children for profit, by the way. Over a hundred years ago, Dr. Arthur Wentworth used 29 children at the hospital as human guinea pigs for unethical medical experiments involving tapping into their spinal columns.
In response to this grotesque abuse of children by the hospital, Dr. John Roberts of Philadelphia
characterized the procedure as "human vivisection."
The Boston Children's Hospital has never issued an apology for using human children in medical experiments. Don't hold your breath waiting for an apology of the kidnapping of Justina Pelletier, either.
Why we are calling for the arrest and prosecution of hospital executives
Natural News calls for the arrest and prosecution of Boston Children's Hospital executives for the felony kidnapping of a teenage girl.
"The future of pediatrics will be forged by thinking differently, breaking paradigms and joining together in a shared vision of tackling the toughest challenges before us." - Boston Children's Hospital President and CEO Sandra L. Fenwick
(You gotta give her credit. Kidnapping really is thinking differently!)

“I Can’t Believe” This is Happening in America
At what point my country is no longer America remains to be seen
By Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh
Friday, November 15, 2013
My “I Can’t Believe This is Happening to America” list is growing larger by the day. It is so vast now, I can write a book. Would my book have an audience? Judging by the eagerness with which most Americans have embraced the transformational hope and change of our country to communist utopia, the answer is no.
I can’t believe New Yorkers have elected a blatant Marxist as their mayor. I can’t believe Terry McAuliffe is the governor of Virginia. The American men who fought in the Revolutionary War must be turning in their graves knowing that the hallowed ground in Virginia they defended against the British tyranny is now run by Marxist Democrats.
I voted last Tuesday, I took with me to the precinct a piece of toilet paper I found on my last trip to Romania, a “former” communist country where the apparatchiks went underground for a while and are now resurfacing with a vengeance. Twenty-four years later, the commies have not perfected the intricate art of making toilet paper – it was covered with splinters within the layers. On the bright side, this time toilet paper was available and I did not have to fight hundreds of people in line for three hours in order to purchase one roll. I showed my strip of toilet paper to the people who were checking I.D.s asking them if this was the kind of country they wanted. Most laughed, did not realize that I carried this over 7,000 miles with me, and turned back to their duties to make sure all the low information and illegal citizens voted. Why bother? It won’t happen here, we have everything, and we live in the land of abundance – for now.
It was a cruel joke to pretend that poll watchers were making sure voting was legitimate. All illegal aliens in my county have driver licenses. There is no place on the driver’s license that says, illegal or non-citizen, you cannot vote. Dead people voted early and repeatedly. The 2010 Census said that our county’s population grew by 40 percent in the last ten years and most of that growth came from the illegal alien population. They are not hiding in the shadows as progressives/Marxists say, they are living around us with no fear of deportation or shame of criminality.
I can’t believe our government would make 12 ads portraying young people, Millennials, as promiscuous individuals whose only goal in life is to hook up and engage in dangerous sexual activities with strangers and in life-altering practices for self-gratification. This is America, they should not have to control themselves, they have the freedom to be immoral – if it feels right, do it. But not to worry, if they enroll in ObamaCare, the government will pay for all their mistakes, STDs, unwanted children, and all other purposeful missteps in life that have serious consequences.
I can’t believe that government would take control over our bodies, over every facet of our lives, break so many laws in such a short period of time that I’ve lost count, with nobody protesting, impeaching, or sending the offenders to prison.
I can’t believe our stellar medical care that is beneficial to Americans and people around the world is in such a state of chaos that quality and quantity may be gone in just a few short months. Doctors must be invited to participate in ObamaCare in order for patients to keep their doctors in the exchanges and the selection process is secret.
I can’t believe our faith has been attacked to the point that Christians are cowering under the fear of government. Priests and men of cloth are beginning to preach communism every Sunday and support Islam.
I can’t believe the number of mosques that are mushrooming around the country literally overnight. But then we are tolerant in America to the point of foolishness while most Muslim countries do not tolerate Christianity except until recently, Egypt.
Hollywood does not make much fuss over the killing of Christians in Egypt and elsewhere. I wonder what keeps them from saving Tibet. I’ve seen “save Tibet” and “coexist” bumper stickers for decades now; Tibet is not saved, Darfur is still an awful place for non-Muslims and the only people willing to coexist are the Christians, not the Marxists or the Muslims.
I can’t believe our military is being destroyed and TSA goons with unreasonable power are in charge of our flying “safety.”
I can’t believe police are everywhere, cavity searching, car searching, and home searching, with or without probable cause, with or without warrants. I can’t believe most judges are now communist activists litigating from the bench the rules of Marxist utopia.
I can’t believe NSA is listening in, gathering data, and recording everything we do in the same vein that the Stasi in East Germany were spying on, listening in, and keeping detailed written records of the “Lives of Others.”
I can’t believe border patrols are told not to watch our borders. I can’t believe the illegal aliens’ blatant disregard for our laws and the gall to demand equal rights with Americans at the National Mall in D.C. while our veterans were denied access to the same mall where their memorials were erected.
I can’t believe Islam has infiltrated our country so deeply that imams are now demanding and succeeding in some parts of the country in installing Sharia Law as part of our legal system in violation of our Constitution.
I can’t believe our schools in many states are now bowing down to Islam while forbidding our Christian traditions, national anthem, the Pledge of Allegiance, and our flag.
I can’t believe our doctors, medical care, and medical life and death decisions are now residing with 16,000 IRS agents who work with numbers but will decide and approve the necessity of our medical procedures.
I can’t believe people with rap sheets of criminality are now “navigators,” tasked to enroll Americans in ObamaCare, and trusted with personal information, inviting massive fraud.
I can’t believe our military has turned into a compliant army of the administration, where sensitivity training towards gays and transgenders trumps our national security.
I can’t believe we are turning our food supply, preparation, and delivery to the Chinese and a few very large corporations.
I can’t believe we are turning into a welfare nation supported by part-time workers who cannot find jobs because they’ve been shipped overseas in the quest for cheap labor or because of the expensive cost of ObamaCare that employers must partially bear.
I can’t believe our property rights, zoning, and water usage, passage, mineral and fossil fuel exploration rights will be turned over to the United Nations.
I can’t believe that our small arms will be confiscated eventually under the guise of the Small Arms Treaty.
I can’t believe most Americans are so gullible to believe the global warming hoax and the manufactured “consensus” paraded as faux science in the face of real scientific evidence to the contrary.
I can’t believe our currency has been so debased through the work of the Federal Reserve System which has been buying $85 billion worth of bonds each month, propping up Wall Street, not Main Street.
I can’t believe that 29 progressives wrote Common Core education standards, using $178 million in funds from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, with the intent of turning our children into good little communist subjects, yet Americans think that is good for the country. I can’t believe that the curriculum was not scrutinized by those in charge from the 45 states that adopted Common Core indoctrination.
I can’t believe that our education will be further dumbed down towards the collective mindset where American exceptionalism that gave us all the technological developments in the last 150 years will be relegated to the dust bin of history.
I can’t believe that we lost our country to Marxists and everybody seems to be preoccupied by the latest episode of their favorite reality show, sports team, vampire show, and witch show.
The Romans were dulled and bought with “pane et circenses,” bread and circuses, and their end came at the hands of the invading hoards who refused to learn Latin and wanted to have what the Romans had, instant prosperity, property, and power.
My list of “I Can’t Believe This is Happening in America” grows each day. At what point my country is no longer America remains to be seen.

IRS horror stories from our callers for Halloween
All tricks and no treats are why we must replace the tax code
By Herman Cain
Saturday, November 2, 2013
We were flooded with calls on Halloween when we invited callers to share their IRS horror stories with us and the listeners. These stories all centered on the experiences people had had during an IRS audit.
Here is some of what we learned from these comments and experiences that underscored the absolute need to REPLACE the tax code.
COMPLEXITY. The sheer complexity of the tax code leaves plenty of room for IRS auditors to exercise discretionary judgment against a taxpayer. Some of these judgments are unfair and border on being illegal. The agents get away with it because they know the likelihood of a legal challenge is low due to the costs the taxpayer would have to incur. In fact, many people just pay the assessment to get rid of the nuisance if it is not too prohibitive.
UNFAIR. One of the best kept secrets inside the IRS is being able to assess penalties and fines on tax amounts people proved they did not owe. Or, taxpayers are assessed fines and penalties for mistakes in documentation made by the IRS. This is obviously a practice within the IRS culture that may not have ever been challenged, but it is blatantly unfair to taxpayers.
HARASSMENT. When a business owner is audited three years in a row after no inaccuracies are found in any of his tax returns, that’s harassment. When a taxpayer is audited because of his or her political affiliation or outspoken opposing views on issues contrary to the administration or the president, that’s harassment and abuse of power. When people are asked their religious affiliations during an IRS audit, that’s just illegal.
COSTS. A taxpayer being audited has to bear the unnecessary expense of accountants and lawyers to help them prove they did nothing wrong. With the IRS, you are guilty until proven innocent – at your expense.
STRESS. An IRS audit not only distracts a taxpayer or business person from important priorities in their life or business, an audit is also extremely stressful. At times you feel helpless because you are not sure what they are asking or whether what they are asking is legitimate. When you receive notices for more information preceding a holiday weekend, it is not wind beneath your wings. And when you have to “appeal” a multi-million-dollar assessment in order for it to be ultimately overturned, that’s stress!
I have personally gone through this gauntlet of experiences and emotions, which gives me a first-hand appreciation of what millions of taxpayers experience every day. We deserve better.
Many lawmakers in the political class do not want to replace the tax code because it would return power to the people and away from the bureaucrats. It would also remove the biggest barrier to robust economic growth not seen in decades!
We must REPLACE the tax code.
