Once in a blue moon this Saturday

Update: May 22, 2016
Look up on Saturday and if skies are clear, you'll be lucky enough to spot the full moon.
The May full moon is commonly called the Flower Moon, and it also goes by the name of the Corn Planting Moon and the Milk Moon. This year, however, it gets another name — Blue Moon.
A Blue Moon is most commonly the second full moon in a month (as explained in the video above), but that's not the case this weekend.
Normally, there are three full moons per season, but this weekend's Blue Moon is the third of four full moons in a single season — from the first day of spring to the first day of summer.
Don't go outside expecting a moon that's blue in color, though. It's only blue in its namesake.
A 'traditional' Blue Moon generally occurs once every few years. The last one was July 31, 2015 and the next one won't be until January 31, 2018.

All you need to know about the 'blood moon'
What is a ‘blood moon’? Why is it red? Key questions answered about the latest lunar phenomenon

What is a ‘blood moon’?
The term is scoffed at by astronomers, but it has come to mean the combination of a super moon – when the moon’s orbit is closest to the Earth and appears up to 8% bigger – and a full lunar eclipse, when the Earth’s shadow obscures the moon. On Sunday night it resulted in spectacular views of a coppery disc in the sky. “Blood moon” is not a scientific term. It began to be used in connection with Biblical prophesies, but has come to be used to describe the reddish hue seen on a super moon during a lunar eclipse. To astronomers, the event was a “super moon, harvest moon, tetrad, lunar eclipse”.
What is a lunar tetrad?
It is four successive total lunar eclipses, with no partial eclipses in between.
Why was the moon still visible during an eclipse?
During a total lunar eclipse, the Earth, sun and moon are almost exactly in line, with the moon on the opposite side of the Earth from the sun. As the moon was full when it moved into the shadow of the Earth it dimmed markedly, but remained visible because of the sunlight passing through the Earth’s atmosphere.
Why was it reddish?
The sunlight passing through the Earth’s atmosphere was filtered and refracted in such a way that the green to violet light on the spectrum was scattered more strongly than the red light. This left more red light to reach the moon’s surface.
When will the next “blood moon” appear?
The next lunar eclipse visible from the the UK is due in January 2019, but a lunar eclipse won’t coincide with a super moon again until 2033.
What is a harvest moon?
It is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox on 23 September.

200 Proofs Earth is Not a Spinning Ball
by Eric Dubay
Here are a few comments regarding the moon.
(131) NASA and modern astronomy maintain that the Moon is a solid, spherical, Earth-like habitation which man has actually flown to and set foot on. They claim the Moon is a non-luminescent planetoid which receives and reflects all its light from the Sun. The reality is, however, that the Moon is observably not a solid body, it is clearly circular, but not spherical, and not in any way an Earth-like planetoid which humans could set foot on. In fact, the Moon has been proven largely transparent and completely self-luminescent, shining with its own unique light.
(135) Not only is the Moon clearly self-luminescent, shining its own unique light, but it is also largely transparent. When the waxing or waning Moon is visible during the day it is possible to see the blue sky right through the Moon. And on a clear night, during a waxing or waning cycle, it is even possible to occasionally see stars and “planets” directly through the surface of the Moon! The Royal Astronomical Society has on record many such occurrences throughout history which all defy the heliocentric model.
(136)  Many people think that modern astronomy’s ability to accurately predict lunar and solar eclipses is a result and proof positive of the heliocentric theory of the universe. The fact of the matter however is that eclipses have been accurately predicted by cultures worldwide for thousands of years before the “heliocentric ball-Earth” was even a glimmer in Copernicus’ imagination. Ptolemy in the 1st century A.D. accurately predicted eclipses for six hundred years on the basis of a flat, stationary Earth with equal precision as anyone living today. All the way back in 600 B.C. Thales accurately predicted an eclipse which ended the war between the Medes and Lydians. Eclipses happen regularly with precision in 18 year cycles, so regardless of geocentric or heliocentric, flat or globe Earth cosmologies, eclipses can be accurately calculated independent of such factors.
(137) Another assumption and supposed proof of Earth’s shape, heliocentrists claim that lunar eclipses are caused by the shadow of the ball-Earth occulting the Moon. They claim the Sun, Earth, and Moon spheres perfectly align like three billiard balls in a row so that the Sun’s light casts the Earth’s shadow onto the Moon. Unfortunately for heliocentrists, this explanation is rendered completely invalid due to the fact that lunar eclipses have happened and continue to happen regularly when both the Sun and Moon are still visible together above the horizon!
For the Sun’s light to be casting Earth’s shadow onto the Moon, the three bodies must be aligned in a straight 180 degree syzygy, but as early as the time of Pliny, there are records of lunar eclipses happening while both the Sun and Moon are visible in the sky.
Therefore the eclipsor of the Moon cannot be the Earth/Earth’s shadow and some other explanation must be sought.

'Hollow Moon that rings like a bell put into orbit by ancient ALIENS', shock theory claims
A CRAZY theory that the moon is a "hollow artificial satellite" put into Earth's orbit by aliens who could even LIVE INSIDE is gathering pace.
By Jon Austin
Thu, Feb 23, 2017
The favoured official scientific explanation is that the Moon broke off from the Earth's crust after it was struck by a massive Mars-sized object, and then remained in our orbit.
Many pseudo-scientists and conspiracy theorists have latched onto claims that the moon's existence and relationship with Earth defies physics, to brand it an artificially-created object.
They have taken the giant leap from this to claim aliens from billions of years ago created the structure and it may even be occupied inside, in a similar way to the infamous Death Star from the Star Wars movies.
The latest supporter of the conspiracy theory has devoted an entire article to the claims on his website.
UFO researcher JP Robinson says the fact that the moon "rings like a bell or gong when struck" means it must be hollow and artificially constructed, despite being coated in rock.
Mr Robinson wrote: "It appears that the moon itself shouldn’t actually be where it is, and all the data regarding the moon’s size and its distance from the sun and from the Earth, have confounded scientists and researchers alike."
It is true that scientists have been divided on how the moon formed, with some suggesting its existence defies physics itself.
Many scientists agree the size of the Moon is one of our solar system's biggest anomalies.
Physics has been unable to explain why a planet the size of Earth has a Moon of such a large size in comparison.
Our Moon would be expected to be about 40 miles in diameter, but is closer to 2,000 miles.
Other supporters of the hollow moon theory include conspiracy theory king David Icke and Scott C Waring, editor of www.ufosightingsdaily.com.
Mr Robinson added: "The Moon revolves at exactly one hundredth of the speed that the Earth turns on its axis.
"It is also precisely 400 times smaller than the Sun and exactly 400 times closer to the Earth.
"Patterns and number sequences are consistent when looking at all of the Moon’s major aspects, contrary to the inconsistencies of all other planets and moons in our solar system.
David Icke is a supporter of the hollow moon theory.
"If you divide the circumference of the Sun by that of the Moon and multiply by 100 you get the polar circumference of the Earth.
"In fact, so precise are the measurements and correlations between the Earth, Sun and Moon that any differentiation in the figures would inevitably lead to vastly visible changes. "Take the solar eclipse for example; the Sun would no longer be able to conceal itself so perfectly behind the Moon.
"That astoundingly perfect fit that we take for granted would cease to be."
It was also confirmed by NASA that the moon does ring like a bell when struck.
During Apollo 12 the shock waves made by the lunar module ascent were recorded by seismic equipment and showed that "Moonquake" tremors lasted for 55 minutes.
Vibrations caused by the impact of Apollo 13’s Saturn rocket booster, which was equivalent to 11 tons of TNT going off, left the Moon shaking for three hours and 20 minutes, the same equipment showed.
Mr Robinson added: "There are many theories doing the rounds regarding the enigmatic nature of Earth’s Moon.
"Many claim that the moon is an artificial satellite rather than a natural object.
"It is hollow, which should be impossible were it a natural planetary object.
"As noted astronomer Dr Carl Sagan wrote in 1966, 'A natural satellite cannot be a hollow object'.
"So, if the Moon is a hollow artificial construct as the facts lead us to understand, who built the Moon, how did they get it into its present orbit and why did they put it there? "How is it that our moon remains stationary in Earth’s orbit, never revealing the dark side to us?
"Such questions will certainly not be answered overnight but the initial realization that our Moon is not a natural object behaving naturally would raise a few eyebrows were it common public knowledge."

Why is this crazy? Do you people really think the governments are telling people the truth, do you really think that the sun can shine through the moon so it becomes yellow in colour when the sun is red, do you think gravity is real and that keeps us stuck to the earth when its meant to be spinning at 65,000 miles per hour, but yet a tiny, tiny magnet can pick up a paper clip.  Time some people started to use their brain that God gave them and not listen to the sh-it NASA feeds you.

Who said NASA were able to hear the moon ringing "in space"? They certainly did "hear" it ringing, but not with their own ears but with seismic equipment left on the surface of the moon, which was left there for scientific purposes. For example, they left a mirror on the moon's surface with the intention that when astronomers fire a laser beam from an earth observatory (as they still do every month), the mirror reflects the beam back to source allowing astronomers to check if there's any change in the moon's position. What this particular experiment has proved is that the moon is slowly moving away from earth each year by a few centimetres.

The seismic equipment, essentially a listening post by NASA, was left on the surface to check if the moon had earthquakes but what it eventually relayed back to earth stunned the experts. NASA deliberately crashed part of a rocket onto the moon's surface instead of leaving it float around as a projectile, and when it hit the surface they expected the seismic equipment to monitor the initial explosion as a kind of one-off event. But this isn't what happened. After the initial explosion, the equipment monitored a ringing sound reverberating around the moon which went round and round and lasted for about 45 minutes.  Sound waves passing through solid rock would not produce the repeated ringing that resulted. Earthquakes certainly don't do that. So whichever way you look at it, the rocky surface of the moon is just that - "on the surface" - and does not extend to any great depth. It was the experts themselves who said the moon was ringing like a bell and that to cause that effect it had to be hollow.

Kinda blows your theory about man never having gone to the moon doesn't it.

If it takes a 300 ft tall Saturn V rocket to escape the Earth's gravity and the moon has one fifth of the gravity of earth then it would take a 60 ft tall rocket to escape the moon's gravity to get the astronauts to 9000 mph to safely dock with the orbitter. Was there a 60 ft tall rocket? No!!! THere wasn't! Man never walked on the moon because they would never have got back!!
The Netherlands found out the hard way that they didn't, when they analysed the piece of "genuine" moon rock that Armstrong and Aldrin gave them it was a piece of petrified wood!!
Case closed.

Please, this isn't a new theory, it's been around for years. HG Wells in 1901, Von Daniken et all.
